This chili is made as a sauce. We use it on pasta but we are also going to use it on hot dogs. The recipe is below. We did forget to add the water which would have made ours a little thinner but it still turned out great. Cincinnati Suburb Chili 1 tbs olive oil 2 medium sweet yellow onion minced 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 can crushed tomatoes (14.5 oz) 2 tbs chili powder 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground all spice 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 cup water 4 cups cooked or 3 cans dark red kidney beans drained and rinsed (15.5 oz) 8 oz spaghetti Cheezee Sauce, see my last video, or your choice of vegan cheese In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. CINCINNATI (Liz Bonis) -- A new report said one diet stood out when it comes to fighting cancer. The diet stood out not because of what people take away but because of what people added to it. There's some thought people would all rather add to than take away for any health benefit. For example people would rather add red wine, to fight heart disease, to the burgers and fries rather than take away the fast food. So in this case, to fight colon cancer people might want to add a great catch and eat what's called a pescetarian diet. Seafood is the key ingredient in the pescetarian diet. CINCINNATI (Sheila Gray) -- Some new research shows kids on plant based diets dropped weight and had improved blood pressure and cholesterol. When the Cleveland Clinic tested vegan diets on kids, it lowered their heart disease risk, but a lot of teens who cut out meat end up becoming junk food vegetarians. Chef Jennifer Kagy is an expert on the subject. She teaches people how to cook naturally and healthy. Jennifer's also a nutrition coach, so she knows all about the health benefits of a plant based diet.
